1. Telling time

2. Verb ます-form — the four cells

Non-past covers both habitual and future: 毎朝まいあさ6時じに起おきます /明日あした6時じに起おきます.

3. 時間じかんに V

Rule of thumb: if the word contains a number, it takes に. 曜日ようび is the exception that also takes に (optionally).

4. 〜から〜まで

銀行ぎんこうは9時じから3時じまでです。

Either half can stand alone: 9時じから働はたらきます。/ 3時じまでです。

Also for places: 大阪おおさかから東京とうきょうまで

5. N と N — and

休やすみは土曜日どようびと日曜日にちようびです。と joins nouns only — never sentences or verbs.

6. 〜ね

Seeking agreement / confirming: 大変たいへんですね。 / 3時じからですね。
